Following the IPhone 7 launch trail, Google has also to launch its two exclusive smartphones, namely Pixel and Pixel XL. The phones will be available in India for pre-order from October 13. Globally, the Pixel phone price is $649 and the Pixel XL is priced at $749.
Both the phones from Pixel series are considered as ‘Google’s first phones’. Until now, Google always sold the phones including the very popular Nexus series, in collaboration with other companies like HTC and Samsung.
Google Assistant Enabled
In my Google Allo review, I had anticipated that “Google Assistant might be integrated with Google home in near future”. So the news is true ;) Assistant will power Google’s Home hub device and will be found in both the Pixel phones.
